Rose Quartz

Soft, milky pink and forgiving to work with, rose quartz turns up here in more shapes than almost any other stone. Spheres from palm-sized to well over a kilogram, hearts both loose and mounted on stands, moon carvings, elephants, wolf heads, palm stones, and the occasional oddity like a rose quartz spider with a metal body.

It is traditionally the stone of the heart, long given as a token of affection and kept for gentleness, which makes it the piece people most often buy for someone else. If you are shopping for a gift and are not sure where to start, this is a safe place to look.

The colour varies more than photographs suggest. Some pieces are barely blushed, others are a deep dusty pink, and heavily included material can carry white cloud-like veining through the middle. None of that is a flaw, it is just how the stone forms, and each listing shows the actual piece you will receive along with its weight and dimensions.

Hand-picked in Adelaide, wrapped properly for the post, and sent Australia-wide.
